Cajun Pepper Steak

Cajun Pepper Steak (5 points)

Ingredients
1 lb. boneless Sirloin steak
2 T vegetable oil
1 can beef broth 
1 can diced tomatoes 
1 c chopped green pepper 
1/2 c chopped onion 
1/2 t garlic powder
2 t Worcestershire sauce
1 bay leaf
1 t cajun seasoning
1/8 t salt
1/8 t pepper
2 T cornstarch
2 T cold water
Hot cooked rice 
Directions
Cook beef in oil until browned, stir in broth, tomatoes, green pepper, onions, and spices.  Cover and simmer 1 hour.  Discard bay leaf, mix water and cornstarch and stir into meat mixture.  Bring to a boil, cook and stir 2 minutes until thickened.  Serve over rice or noodles.
